LITH Police Arrests for Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Violation of Order of Protection

Note: The following information was obtained from the Lake in the Hills arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Domestic Battery

Corrie A. Czernia, 34, of the 1300 block of Washington St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 8:24 a.m. Aug. 28, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Disorderly Conduct

George A. Phillips, 32, of the 300 block of Council Trail, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 3:39 p.m. Aug. 28, in the 300 block of Tecumseh Trail and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on bond. 

Battery

James M. Foster, 39, of the 1200 block of Burr St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. Aug. 30, and charged with battery. He was arrested at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Rd. He was released on bond. 

Violating Order of Protection

Anthony W. Jones, 45, of the 3900 block of Georgetown Circle, Algonquin, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. Aug. 26, and charged with violation of an order of protection. He was arrested in the 5700 block of Wildsprings Dr.  He was turned over the McHenry County Jail. 

DUI

Danielle N. Valle, 22, of the 0 to 100 block of Pershing Ave., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 7:02 a.m. Aug. 29, near the intersection of Acorn Lane and Crystal Lake Road and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, speeding and no insurance. He was released on bond. 

Jose S. Flores, 26, of the 100 block of Joslyn Dr., Elgin, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. Sept. 1, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of an open alcohol container. 

Marijuana Possession

Eric D. Pawl, 18, of the 1600 block of Carlemont Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Aug. 30, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. He was stopped by police at the Phillips 66 station, 10 S. Randall Rd. He was released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Mitchell P. Schackelton, 26, of the 200 block of Scenic Dr., Algonquin, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. Sept. 1, on Rakow Road on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear in court on domestic battery charges. Bond was set $7,000, 10 percent applies. He was turned over the McHenry County Jail. 

Lindita D. Xheka, 21, of the 1300 block of Cunant Ct., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 27, on a warrant out of Ogle County for driving while license revoked. Bond was set at $3,000, 10 percent applies. Xheka was turned over the McHenry County Jail. 

Driving While License Suspended

Todd A. Gramly, 48, of the 9200 block of Arthur St., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. Aug. 26,  near Route 31 and Virginia Road and charged with driving while license suspended. He was released on bond. 

Michael J. Sullivan, 43, of the 100 block of Jacobsen Ave., Glendale Heights, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. Aug. 28, at Pyott Road and Menominee Dr., and charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane use and no valid insurance. He was released on bond.
