LITH Police Arrests for Domestic Battery, DUI

Lake in the Hills Police release reports through April 2, 2013.

Note: The following information was obtained from the Lake in the Hills Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Domestic Battery

Gene M. Richardson, Jr., 58, 5522 Wildspring Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 1 a.m. March 29, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. Richardson was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.

Robert Varela, 21, 225 W. Highland Ave., Algonquin, was arrested at 5:16 a.m. March 31, at Steak and Shake, 211 N. Randall Rd., and charged with battery. He was released on bond.

DUI

Brendan J. Medsker, 23, 1225 Winakitr, Algonquin, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. March 28, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane turn, failure to signal, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was stopped at Oakleaf and Quail roads. He was released on bond.

Wanted on Warrant

Justin J. Schneck, 21, 1760 Redwood Ave., Hanover Park, was arrested at 12:54 p.m. March 31, on a McHenry County of warrant for failure to appear on driving under the influence. Schneck was stopped by police at Lakewood and Algonquin roads. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond.

Suspended Drivers License

Robert D. St. Marie, Jr., 45, 10909 Cape Cod Ln., Huntley, was arrested at 9 a.m. March 30, and charged with driving while license suspended, suspended registration and no valid insurance. He was stopped by police at Alexandra Boulevard and Skyridge Drive. He was released on bond.
