LITH Man, 18, Charged with DUI; Woman Arrested for Telephone Harassment

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. 

Underage Drinking, DUI

Rajko Laketic, 18, 1200 block of Maple St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Sunday, July 21, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood alcohol content over .08, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis, operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and disobeying a stop sign. Laketic was stopped by police in the 300 block of Pheasant Trail. He was released on bond. 

A 17-year-old Lake in the Hills juvenile was also arrested and charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. The juvenile was released to a parent.

Telephone Harassment

Megan Fry, 32, of the 70 block of Center St., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, and charged with harassment by telephone.  She was arrested in the 300 block of Chippewa Trail. She was released on bond.  

Wanted on Warrant

Brandon C. Smith, 31, of the 400 block of Virginia St., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. July 20, on a warrant out of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear in court to face a traffic offense. He was also charged with disregarding a traffic control device. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Phillip T. Faurot, 19, of the 3100 block of Montrose Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 8:19 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, on a warrant out of Lake County for residential burglary. Bond was set at $50,000, 10 percent applies. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Michael J. Banet, 19, 90 block of Capella Ct., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. July 23, on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear in court for dangerous drugs. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond. 

Trespassing to Residence

17-Year-old Lake in the Hills juvenile was arrested at 11:20 a.m. Monday, July 22, and charged with criminal trespass to residence in the 200 block of Wexford Lane. The juvenile was released to a parent.

Texting & Driving

Alfredo Andrade, 25, 200 block of Circle Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Sunday, July 21, and charged with no valid drivers license and texting while driving. He was stopped at Alexandra Boulevard and Randall Road. He was released on bond. 

Revoked Drivers License

Dillon Brock, 20, 300 block of Marion St., Portage, Wis., was arrested at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, July 21, and charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no seat belt, and defective windshield. He was stopped at Oakleaf Road and Deerpath. He was released on bond.
