LITH Police Arrest Teens for Curfew Violation; Algonquin Man Charged with Harassment

Battery

Saul R. Cazares, 27, of the 100 block of Mark Ct., Woodstock, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Rd., and was charged with battery. He was released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Joshua M. Moore, 28, of the 0 to 20 block of Walnut Grove Ct., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 6:57 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Randall and Millers roads on a warrant from the Schaumburg Police Department for failure to appear in court for possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent applies. He was turned over to the Schaumburg Police Department. 

Juan A. Perez, 38, of the 4500 block of Governors Dr., Rockford, was arrested at 3:34 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Steak 'N Shake, 211 N. Randall Rd., on a warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear in court to face driving while license revoked charges. He was also wanted on warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear in court for driving while license suspended. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Curfew Violation

Four teenagers were arrested at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Deerpath and Oakleaf roads for curfew violation.  Those arrested included:
  • A 15-year-old Carpentersville girl
  • A 16-year-old Carpentersville boy
  • A 16-year-old Dundee boy, who was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 16-year-old Hampshire boy, who was also charged with no valid drivers license after curfew, no valid insurance, disobeying a traffic control device, failure to carry drivers license on person, and violation of graduation of drivers license provisions.
The teens were each released to their parents. 

Leaving Scene of Accident

Victor O. Ozegbe, 29, of the 0 to 50 block of Larkspur Court, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 7:54 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Rd., and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage and improper lane use. He was released on bond.

No Valid Drivers License

Isabel Enriquez-Serrano, 37, of the 1600 block of Wilmot Ave., Twin Lakes, Wis., was arrested at 8:44 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Apache Trail and Algonquin Road, and charged with no valid drivers license and suspended registration. Serrano was released on bond.

Uninsured Car

Samuel Sin, 22, of the 1600 block of Warrington Lane, Crystal Lake, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Meijer Gas Station, 490 S. Randall Rd., and charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane use, no valid registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.  

Harassment by Phone, Electronic Device


Richard F. Vaia, 49, of the 1800 block of Broadmore Dr., Algonquin, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the 400 block of Harvest Gate and charged with harassment through electronic communications and harassment by telephone. He was released on bond. 

Felony Criminal Damage to Property


Michael A. Bottcher, 32, of the 1500 block of Monroe St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 7:39 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Thornton's, 2265 W. Algonquin Rd., and charged with felony criminal damage to state supported property and misdemeanor violation of bail bond. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
