Lake in the Hills Police Arrest Several for DUI, Domestic Battery, Trespassing

DUI

Jose F. Mussri Ligueno, 19, of Arbordale Ct., Algonquin, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and improper lane use. He was released on bond. He was stopped at Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate. 

Richard J. Koros, 60, of the 8400 block of Merchant Circle, Lakewood, was arrested at 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to wear a seatbelt and speeding too fast for conditions after he was stopped at Randall and Miller roads. He was released on bond. 

Ryanne N. Bersch, 26, of the 32000 Block of North Route 12, Volo, was arrested at 3:08 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over. 08, improper lane use, and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. 

Domestic Battery

Ashton I. Weathington, 24, of the 1300 block of Yarmouth Ct., Schaumburg, was arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, int he 900 block of Viewpoint Drive and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Bernard T. Velna, 36, of the 3300 block of Montgomery, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 7:56 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in the 2000 block of Impressions Drive and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was released into the custody of a parent. 

Battery

Jason D. Harnish, 37, of the 400 block of Village Creek Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, and charged with battery. He was released on bond. 

Trespassing

Matthew A. Sorich, 20, 2 Salford Ct., Algonquin, was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in the 1000 block of Maple st., and charged with criminal trespass. He was released on bond. 

Marijuana Possession

Sean W. Hildebrand, 20, of the 100 block of Hawthorne Way, Cary, was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, and charged with possession of 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and expired license plate. He was released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Aneta M. Niwelt, 21, of the 600 block of Joseph St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, on a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. She was released on bond. 

Damien P. Niwelt, 23, of the 600 block of Joseph St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, on a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. He was released on bond. 

Tristan L. Taggart, 28, of the 900 block of Viewpoint Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, on a warrant out of Streamwood for domestic battery. No bond was given. He was turned over to the Streamwood Police Department. 

Patrick N. Webber, 28, of the 500 block of Wendt Ave., East Dundee, was arrested at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, on a warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear in court for DUI. Bond was set at $5,000. He was released on bond. 

Josue I. Balleno, 25, of Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 5:34 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in the 00 block of Hawthorne Road on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear for dangerous drugs charges. Bond was set at $7,000. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
