Lake in the Hills Man in Critical Condition after SUV Crashes

Robert J. Kruse, 61, of Lake in the Hills, is listed in critical condition after his 2003 Infiniti SUV crashed into several trees and rolled over early Wednesday morning in Bull Valley, the Northwest Herald reports.

Kruse, who was wearing a seat belt, was driving north on Fleming Road and left the roadway in the 1300 block at about 6:20 a.m. He was the only occupant in the car, and had to be extricated by rescue workers. Kruse was transported to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock, and then airlifted to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville, the Herald reports.
