Local authorities are investigating a crash that killed a Huntley woman over the weekend.
Sylvia Franco, 62, of Huntley, was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that occurred on Saturday at Huntley and Kreutzer roads in Gilberts, according to a Kane County Corner's Office press release.
The crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. and involved a Dodge Caravan and a BMW, according to the Daily Herald.
The coroner's office is waiting to receive autopsy and toxicology reports before determining a cause of death, according to the news release. The crash remains under investigation by the Gilberts Police Department and the coroner's office.
