Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from Wednesday.
Violation of Protection Order
Police received a call from a complainant in the 300 block of Wander Way around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. The complainant told police that an ex-boyfriend had violated an order of protection. Police found the report to be unfounded, according to the Lake in the Hills Police Department's daily bulletin.

Police responded to a home on the 300 block of Pyott Road around 7:52 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a burglary. According to the daily bulletin, $100 was taken from the home. The burglary report was turned over the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s investigations unit.
