Crime Reports: Teens Arrested for Motor Vehicle Burglary, Criminal Trespassing

Algonquin and Lake in the Police reports from the past week.

The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.

Oct. 19

12:01 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Janira E. Jimenez, 30, for driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at Randall Road and Connection Drive in Algonquin. Jimenez, of 114 Woodland Court, Apt. 3A in Carpentersville, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Nov. 21 in McHenry County. 

Oct. 21

9:30 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Matthew Rowland, 18, for unlawful consumption of alcohol by minor at Hanson Road and Zange Drive in Algonquin. Rowland, of 11952 Devonshire Drive in Algonquin, was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin.

Oct. 21

6:10 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Ernesto Lopez-Badillo, 18, at Sleepy Hollow Road and Stone Ridge Lane in Algonquin for driving under the influence, driving under the influence over, no proof of insurance, no valid driver's license and following too closely. Lopez-Badillo, 22 Evergreen Lane in Carpentersville, was released after posting $300 and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County. 

Oct. 23

12:11 p.m.: LITH Police Brandon Hendrickson, 18, in the 1200 block of Burr Street in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended. Hendrickson of Marengo was released on bond. 

1:07 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Mary L. Reuter, 56, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Reuter of Marengo was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin. 

3:10 p.m.: LITH Police arrested Ryan J. Ziebell, 23, in the first block of Redbud Court in LITH for violation of bail bond, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. Ziebell of Woodstock was turned over to McHenry County Jail. 

3:38 p.m.: LITH Police arrested Vincent A. Isola, 19, at 6900 Rakow Road for driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed and no insurance. Isola, of 28674 Harvest Glen in Cary, was released on bond. 

8:02 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Gabriella T. Garrar, 18, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Farrar, of 9948 Wakefield Lane in Huntley, was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin. 

10:21 p.m.: LITH Police arrested Jose Papalotzi, 35, at Randall Road and Acorn Drive in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended, driving with one headlight and no insurance. Papalotzi, of 588 Summerset Lane Apt. 5 in Crystal Lake, was released on bond. 

Oct. 25

1:35 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Ross M. McDonnell, 21, at his home at 960 Prairie Drive in Algonquin for resisting arrest, reckless driving and five counts of criminal damage to property. He was taken to McHenry County Jail and was unable to post bond. 

2:09 a.m.: LITH Police arrested a 16-year-old LITH boy in the first block of Crofton Court for burglary from motor vehicle and five counts of criminal trespassing. 

8:33 a.m.: LITH Police received a report of an iPod and radar detector that were taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Horizon Ridge. The report was turned over to investigations. 

4:47 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl, both from Algonquin, at Claire's, 1728 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. They were both referred to Tri-County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of their parents. 

Oct. 26

1:59 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Jason B. Watt, 24, at Spring Hill Drive and Hanson Road in Algonquin for driving while license revoked, no proof of insurance and disobeying traffic control signal. Watt was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County. 

Oct. 27

2:09 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 15-year-old Huntley girl in the first block of Crofton Court in Lake in the Hills for burglary from motor vehicle and five counts of criminal trespassing. He was turned over to a guardian. 

9:15 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of a theft at a home in the 1000 block of Creek View Lane in LITH. A security camera was taken. The report was under investigation by a LITH officer. 

3:25 p.m.: LITH Poilce received a report of a GPS, iPod and radar detector taken from a vehicle in the 800 block of Parc Court in LITH. The report was turned over to investigations.
