Crime Reports: Police Bust LITH Underage Party; Woman Arrested for Battery, Mob Action

Algonquin and Lake in the Hills police department reports from the past week.

The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 8

8:25 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Isaac Quintana, 23, at Edward Street and Harrison Street in Algonquin for driving while license suspended and disregarding a traffic control device. Quintana, of 836 Salem Lane in Carpentersville, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County.

12:36 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Karina Gonzalez, 24, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, for retail theft. Gonzalez of Chicago was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court in Algonquin on Nov. 28. 

Oct. 9

4:04 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Arissa M. Podraza, 19, of McHenry, at the Sunset Skate Park, 9200 Haligus Road, for battery and mob action. Podraza was later released on bond.

9:24 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of forced entry made into a residence in the 200 block of Village Creek Drive in Lake in the Hills. The report is under investigation by the reporting officer. 

Oct. 10

11:19 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Thomas R. Simone, 47, of Streamwood for driving while license revoked, expired registration and no insurance. Simone was later released on bond. 

12:25 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Saeed K. Hosseini, 22, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Hosseini, of Scottsdale, Ariz. was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin. 

9:22 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Benard O. Bausley, 31, at Harvest Gate and Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended, no valid registration, no insurance and improper use of registration. Bausley of Bolingbrook was later released on bond. 

Oct. 12

12:12 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Ashley Brajcki, 18, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Brajcki, of 18 Grant Ave. in Lake in the Hills, was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin. 

6:46 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Christina A. Hughes, 40, at Route 31 and Klasen Road in Algonquin for driving under the influence and improper lane use. Hughes of Bartlett was released after posting $100 and her Illinois Driver's license. She is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County. 

3:20 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Nicole A. Tarlos, 18, for retail theft. Tarlos of Lake Zurich was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in Algonquin. 

3:28 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Jay R. Compton, 53, for driving under the influence and improper lane use. Compton, of 3 Hickory Lane in Algonquin, was released after posting $100 and his Illinois Driver's License. He is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County. 

Oct. 12

1:13 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Thornell Jackson, 38, at Main and Washington streets in Algonquin for driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and improper lane use. Jackson of Aurora was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Nov. 28 in McHenry County. 

6:45 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Gina M. Giuliano, 51, for violation of an order of protection in the 2600 block of Stanton Circle in Lake in the Hills. Giuliano, 51, of Woodstock, was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Oct. 13

1:55 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Sean T. O Hara, 29, at Oak Street and Pyott Road in LITH for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed, improper lane usage, driving off roadway, no insurance and failure to notify of address change. O Hara, of 1326 Cunat Court in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

11:24 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested John R. Berg, 59, in the 1000 block of Pine Street in Lake in the Hills, for violation of bail bond. Bert, of 1114 Pine Street in LITH, was later released on bond. 

11:59 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Patrizio S. Bigi, 23, in the 5000 block of Briarfield Lane in Lake in the Hills, for hosting an underage party. Bigi, of 5324 Briarfield Lane in LITH, was issued a notice to appear. Also arrested was Alejandro M. Valdez, 19, of 10982 Preston Parkway in Huntley for underage consumption of alcohol by a minor; Devin M. Heaphy, 18, of 9517 Inverness Court in Huntley, for underage consumption of alcohol by a minor; Fernando Rodriguez, 19, of Elgin, for underage consumption of alcohol by a minor; Vito Anoman, 20, of 3561 Chadwick Lane in LITH, for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor; and Nicholas Sanfilippo, 18, of 10498 Middle Town Lane in Huntley, for underage consumption of alcohol by a minor. All cited were issued a notice to appear.

Oct. 14

4:34 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested William J. Ellis, 25, of Oakwood Hills, for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content greater than .08 and failure to signal. Ellis was later released on bond. 

4:55 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Randall and Algonquin roads. One of the vehicles fled the scene of the crash. Only property was damaged in the accident.
