Crime Reports: Police Arrest Woman at Moretti's for Battery; Holiday Decorations Damaged

Algonquin and Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from the past week.

The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.

Dec. 3

12:06 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 16-year-old West Dundee boy for possession of drug paraphernalia at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin. He was referred to the tri-county area peer jury and then released into the custody of his father.

6:57 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Scott L. Roesslein, 19, at Route 31 and Trinity Drive in Algonquin for driving while license suspended and speeding. Roesslein of Carpentersville was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 15 in McHenry County. 

Dec. 4

2:10 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Jordan P. Carmody, 20, at Walmart 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin for retail theft. She was released on a notice to appear and is expected in court on Jan. 30 in Algonquin.

3:46 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Jessica M. Oschal, 28, on two counts of battery at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Road in Lake in the Hills. Oschal of 4314 Derby Lane in Crystal Lake, was later released on bond. 

9:07 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Kristen L. Heitsch, 20, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Heitsch of Palatine was released on a notice to apepar and is next expected in court on Jan. 30 in Algonquin. 

10:26 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Dominique X. Blake at Lakewood Road and Sullivan Pass in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended, speeding an on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear. Blake, of 311 Villag Creek Drive in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

Dec. 5

8:53 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 100 block of Boulder Drive in Lake in the Hills for a burglary to motor vehicle. A cell phone charges and change was taken from an unlocked vehicle at some point overnight. There was a pending investigation by the reporting officer. 

Dec. 6

3:24 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Karina G. Soto, 24, for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content over .08, improper lane use, expired registration, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams and failure to notify the secretary of state about an address change. Soto of Carpentersville was later released on bond. 

8:08 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to LeRoy Guy Park, 200 S. Annandale Drive in Lake in the Hills, for park equipment that was damaged. The report was turned over to investigations. 

8:13 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of holiday decorations that were damaged in the 100 block of Boulder Drive in Lake in the Hills. 

8:19 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Pablo Gonzalez, 25, at Algonquin Road and Faireway View Drive in Lake in the Hills for speeding 40 mph plus over posted limit. Gonzalez, 1412 Adams St. in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

Dec. 8

1:01 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Brandon P. Rodriguez, 24, was arrested on a warrant out of Cook County for a battery at 113 S. Main Street in Algonquin. Rodriguez of Hanover Park was released after posting $2,000 and is next expected in court on Jan. 8 in Cook County. 

1:22 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Mark L. Hudson, 50, on two counts of domestic battery in the 100 block of Hickory Road in Lake in the Hills. Hudson was taken to McHenry County Jail. A 51-year-old man was taken to Sherman Hospital for treatment of a head injury. 

Dec. 9

6:15 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Wasfi Awwad, 19, in the 100 block of Pheasant Trail in Lake in the Hills on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear for damage to property. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.

10:13 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 1300 block of Cunat Court in Lake in the Hills for a report of a rear passenger side window that was damage by an unknown object. The report was turned over to investigations. 

6:43 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 400 block of Plum Street in Lake in the Hills for a report of a complainant's vehicle windows that were shattered. The report was turned over to investigations.
