Crime Reports: LITH Man Arrested for Fleeing Police, Speeding in Excess of 40 MPH

Algonquin and Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from the past week.

The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 21

11:44 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Ashour Badalpour, 56, at Lake Cook Road and Route 62 in Algonquin on a bond forfeiture warrant out of Cook County. Badalpour of Skokie was released after posting $1,000 and is next expected in court in Cook County on Dec. 12.

12:45 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 17-year-old Rockford girl for retail theft at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin. The girl was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of her family. 

5:06 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Patricia Nikolaou, 20, at Randall Road and Stonegate Road in Algonquin for no valid driver's license, expired registration and no proof of insurance. She was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 2 in McHenry County.

6:50 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Jairo Elizarraraz, 30, at Randall Road and Acorn Lane in Lake in the Hills on a warrant out of McHenry County for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, expired registration, no insurance and driving without headlights. Elizarraraz, of 108 Berkshire Drive in Crystal Lake, was taken to McHenry County Jail.   

Nov. 22

5:38 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Anthony J. Trychta, Jr., 23, at 1120 Dawson Lane in Algonquin for driving while license suspended, improper lane use, expired registration and no proof of insurance. Trychta, of 1251 Big Sur Parkway in Algonquin, was released after posting $150. 

Nov. 23

4:39 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Juan M. Bolanos Ortiz, 26, at Algonquin Road and Wentworth Avenue in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended. Ortiz, of 3715 Algonquin Road in Algonquin, was later released on bond. 

Nov. 24

1:08 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Francisco Gonzalez, 44, on warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear on a DUI charge and on a warrant out of Winnebago County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. Gonzalez of Schaumburg was released after posting $800 on the DuPage County warrant and is next expected in court on Jan. 3 in DuPage County. He also posted $200 on the Winnebago County warrant and is next expected in court on Dec. 10 in that county. 

2:12 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police took Mark M. Garcia, 23, into custody at Algonquin and Randall roads in Lake in the Hills on several charges. Garcia was arrested for: two counts of fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to provide information or aide, speeding in excess of 40 mph or more, reckless driving, two counts of improper lane use, two counts of disobeying a traffic control device, no insurance and speeding. Garcia, of 11 Marion Court in Lake in the Hills, was turned over to McHenry County Jail. 

8:20 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Robert S. Fudala, 28, at Randall and Miller roads in Lake in the Hills for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content greater than .08, driving while using an electronic communication device and illegal transportation of alcohol. Fudala of Streamwood was later released on bond. 

Nov. 25

1:47 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Brittney M. Booker, 24, at 3201 Nottingham in Algonquin on four counts of domestic battery. She was taken to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing. 

Nov. 26

12:13 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Aubrey P. Johnson, 18, at 510 Golden Valley Drive in Algonquin for battery. Johnson of Wheaton was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Dec. 20 in Kane County. 

12:19 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Bryan D. Gordon, 37, at 510 Golden Valley Drive in Algonquin for domestic battery. Gordon of Algonquin was taken to Kane County Jail to await a bond hearing.
