Crime Reports: Hit and Run Involving Christmas Decorations; DUI Arrests

Dec. 21

12:58 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Dorothy Pastorelli, 33, for retail theft at Kohl's, 734 S. Randall Road in Algonquin. Pastorelli of Gilberts was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 30 in McHenry County.

2:20 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Renate A. Hofman, 50, for retail theft at Joe Caputos & Sons, 100 S. Randall Road in Algonquin. Hofman, of 2110 Carlisle St. in Algonquin, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 30 in McHenry County.

3:21 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Agha R. Haider, 79, at Algonquin and Lakewood roads on a Kane County Sheriff's Office warrant for aggravated criminal sexual abuse/family. Haider, 5411 Sullivan Pass in Lake in the Hills, was turned over to the Kane County Sheriff's Office.

7:30 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested William Cabanas-Gonzalez, 22, at Algonquin and Pyott roads for driving while license revoked and improper turn signal. Cabanas-Gonzalez, of 12 Robin Road in Carpentersville, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 23 in McHenry County.

10:37 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Brandon J. Wilhelm, 21, for driving under influence of drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams, failure to wear a seat belt, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no driver's license on person. Wilhelm, of 701 Majestic Drive in Algonquin, was later released on bond.

Dec. 22

12:56 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Michael D. Eccles, 31, at Randall and Algonquin roads for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Eccles, of 2411 Crystal Lake Road in Cary, was released on bond.

Dec. 23

4:16 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Angelica J. Cress, 21 at Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Road in LITH, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Cress, of 9 Hazelwood Court in LITH, was released on bond.

Dec. 25

2:34 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Antonio Nevarez, 51, at 1609 Fieldcrest Drive in Algonquin for domestic battery. Nevarez of Algonquin was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.

9:14 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 5600 block of Danbury Circle in Lake in the Hills for a report of a vehicle that hit a parked vehicle and then drove away. The report was under investigation by the reporting officer.

11:39 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Ryan W. Treadwell, 18, for domestic battery at Route 62 and Route 31 in Algonquin. Treadwell, of 412 Beach Drive in Algonquin, was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Dec. 26

12:00 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Justin R. Albright, 20, in the 3000 block of Banbury Lane in Lake in the Hills for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams. Albright, 530 Tenby Way in Algonquin, was released on bond.

7:20 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Autumn D. Barnick, 25, at Algonquin Road and Boulder Ridge Drive in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended, expired registration and no valid insurance. Barnick of Marengo was later released on bond.

6:35 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Mark J. Dicker, 31, at ACE Hardware, 481 N. Randall Road, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams. Dicker of Roselle was released on bond.

11:55 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Jason B. Watt, 24, at Talaga Drive and Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and not wearing seat belt. Watt of 2907 Talaga Drive in Algonquin, was later released on bond.

Dec. 27

1:16 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Edit R. Fuentes, 20, at West Algonquin Road and Berg Street in Algonquin for driving while license suspended. Fuentes, of 622 Grace Drive in Lake in the Hills, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 30 in McHenry County.

10:01 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 200 block of Hunters Path for a report of a vehicle that struck multiple Christmas decorations and then fled the scene. The report was under investigation.

12:38 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Christopher A. Jacob, 30, for driving while license revoked and speeding. Jacob, of 85 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Apt. 2B, in Crystal Lake, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Jan. 30 in McHenry County.
