Crime Reports: Area Man Arrested for Domestic Battery; Fishing Boat Reported Stolen

Sept. 28
6:57 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Scott M. Wojtowycz, 37, in the 400 block of Meadow Lane in Lake in the Hills on two counts of domestic battery. Wojtowycz, of 1336 Skyridge Drive in Crystal Lake, was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

9:36 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of an automobile trailer that was taken from Absolute Cabinet, 9114 Virginia Road, in Lake in the Hills. The report was turned over to investigations.
11:27 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Dana A. Sanders, 35, at Algonquin and Randall roads in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended. Sanders of Elgin was later released on bond.

11:34 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Nadine A. Spiker, 44, at Cedar Ridge Drive and Algonquin Road for driving while license suspended and speeding. Spiker, of 6501 Silver Lake Road in Cary, was later released on bond.
Sept. 29
8:52 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of roof shingles, power outlet and light that had been damaged on a pavilion at Larsen Island, 1111 Pyott Road in Lake in the Hills.
10:45 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Alejandro Orozco, 54, at his home at 221 N. Main St. in Algonquin for driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed, no proof of insurance, no headlights and resisting a peace officer. Orozco was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Oct. 31 in McHenry County.
Sept. 30
3:57 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 17-year-old Algonquin boy at Algonquin Road and Scotty Ave. in Lake in the Hills for zero tolerance/unlawful consumption of alcohol by minor, improper lane use and no driver's license on person. The teen was turned over to a parent.
9:39 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Rafeal Carbajal Jr., 40, in the 3900 block of Spring Lake Drive in Lake in the Hills, on two counts of domestic battery. Carabajal of Lake in the Hills as taken to the McHenry County Jail.
10:53 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Jeffrey S. Skrzypczak, 29, in the 1100 block of Poplar Street on two counts of domestic battery and criminal damage to vehicle. Skrzypczak of Lake in the Hills was taken to the McHenry County Jail.
Oct. 1
7:24 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of a battery between two men at Sunset Skate Park, 9220 Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills. The report is under investigation by the reporting officer.
Oct. 2
8:31 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Daniel A. Linder, 27, at Pyott Road and Shawnee Drive in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended, suspended registration and no insurance. Linder of Bartlett was released on bond.
11:55 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Kaitlin A. Wall, 20, at Harvest Gate and Polaris Drive in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended and no seat belt. Wall, of 161 Polaris Drive in Lake in the Hill, was later released on bond.
1 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police received a report of a 15-foot fishing boat that was stolen from the 200 block of Indian Trail. The report was turned over to investigations.
4:59 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Pyott Road and East Oak Street in Lake in the Hills. A 29-year-old man and 29-year-old woman reported having neck pain and were both taken to Sherman Hospital.
Oct. 3
12:57 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Kevin M. Kniesal, 26, at 2126 W. Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills, for driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no front registration, improper use of registration and possession of marijuana. Kniesal, of 1506 Clayton March Drive in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond.
8:42 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Joann M. Johnson, 48, in the 1400 block of Monroe Street in Lake in the Hills for trespassing to land. Johnson, of 1413 Monroe St. in LITH, was issued a notice to appear.
