Crime Reports: Algonquin Teen Arrested for Burglary, Theft

Nov. 27

12:12 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Michele L. Kohnhorst, 40, at Costco, 250 Randall Road in LITH, for driving while license suspended and suspended registration. Kohnhorst of Huntley was later released on bond.

Nov. 28

12:08 p.m.: A 13-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, for unlawful use of a credit card. she was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of her mother. 

7:23 p.m.: Lake in the Hills police responded to the 1100 block of Heavens Gate in LITH for a report of a residential burglary and money that was taken from a home. The report was turned over to investigations.

9:04 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 16-year-old Algonquin boy in the 700 block of Webster Street in Lake in Algonquin for burglary and theft over $300. He was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents. 

Nov. 29

1:10 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Alexander R. Mignagaray, 22, in the 700 block of White Pine Circle in Lake in the Hills, for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams and possession of a hypodermic needle. Mignagaray, of 774 White Pine Circle in LITH, was turned over to McHenry County Jail. 

3:29 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Emmanuel L. Arthur, Jr., 24, for driving while license suspended at Algonquin Road and Berg Street in Lake in the Hills. Arthur of Elgin was released on bond. 

5:19 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Phillip T. Faurot, 19, on a warrant out of McHenry County for assault. Faurot, of 3140 Montrose Drive in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond.
