Crime Reports: Algonquin Man Arrested for Leaving Accident Scene; LITH Boy Accused of Sex Abuse

Algonquin and Lake in the Hills police department reports from recent days.

The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.

Sept. 18

8:58 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Emilie L. Graham, 27, at Huntington Drive and Shagbark Court in Lake in the Hills on a warrant out of Boone County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. Graham, of 1200 Geringer Road in Algonquin, was taken to McHenry County Jail to await pick up by Boone County when unable to post bond.

Sept. 18

4:28 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Esther J. Manaugh-Boehm, 22, at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, for driving under the influence. Manaugh-Boehm was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court in McHenry County on Oct. 24. 

11:52 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Brian M. Huber, 42, at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, for leaving the scene, resisting/obstructing, failure to give aide/information, improper lane use, no proof of insurance and failure to reduce speed. Huber, of 1310 Parkview Terrace in Algonquin, was released after posting $150 and his Illinois driver's license and is next expected in court on Oct. 24 in McHenry County.

Sept. 19

2:15 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Daniel W. Bockenhauer, 19, in the 4400 block of Heron Drive in Lake in the Hills for attempt criminal trespass to residence, criminal trespass to real property and two counts of disorderly conduct. Bockenhauer, of 11606 Lori Lane in Huntley, was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Sept. 20

12:36 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Kyle O'Brien, 26, at Ackman Road and Westport Ridge for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than 2.5 grams, following too closely and expired driver's license. O'Brian, of 1301 Cougar Trail in Cary, was later released on bond. Also arrested during the incident was Sara D. Hathaway, 18, of 53 Woodbine Drive in Crystal Lake, for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released on bond. 

3:29 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 14-year-old Lake in the Hills boy at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, for unlawful restraint and criminal sexual abuse. The boy was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents. 

Sept. 21

1:18 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Alan R. Kielan, 39, and Rakow and Virginia roads in Lake in the Hills for driving while license suspended. Kielan, of 112 E. Grove St. in Poplar Grove, was later released on bond. 

9:33 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Rakow and Pyott roads. Property was damaged in the crash and one of the vehicle left the scene. 

Sept. 22

3:21 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Christopher S. Mraz in the 300 block of Tecumseh Trail on two counts of domestic battery. Mraz, of 600 Chatham Circle in Algonquin, was turned over to the McHenry County Jail. 

1:17 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 3000 block of Melbourne Lane in Lake in the Hills for a report of three skateboards that were taken between Aug. 3 and Aug. 15. The report was turned over to investigations. 

2:31 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Victor Parra Jr., 18, at 53 Woodview Lane in Algonquin for criminal trespass to vehicle and theft. Parra, of Hammond, Ind., was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Oct. 24 in McHenry County. 

8:30 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested James R. Gabbert, 29, at Randall and Algonquin roads for driving while license suspended and following too closely. Gabbert, of 1125 Windslow Circle in Crystal Lake, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Oct. 24 in McHenry County. 

Sept. 23

4:20 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 15-year-old Lakemoor boy and a 13-year-old Huntley boy at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road. Both were charged with criminal damage to property. The boy was turned over to his parents.
