Crime Reports: Aggravated DUI Reported in LITH; Teen Arrested for Sex Abuse

Algonquin and Lake in the Hills police department reports from recent days.

Algonquin, Lake in the Hills Crime Reports

Sept. 11

8:47 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin, for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was referred to the Tri-County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his parents.

Sept. 12

10:06 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Amy M. Holbrook, 30, at the Algonquin Police Department, 5200 Harnish Drive, for disorderly conduct. Holbrook, of 700 Webster St. in Algonquin, was released after posting $300 and is next expected in court on Sept. 20 in McHenry County. 

Sept. 13

2:25 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Daphney D. Lewis, 39, and Olivia R. Cooper, 31,  at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Lewis, of 2094 Peachtree Lane in Algonquin, and Cooper of Rolling Meadows were both released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Oct. 31 in Algonquin.

Sept. 15

1:03 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Josephine Garcia, 65, at TJ Maxx, 832 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Garcia, of 310 Terramere Lane in Lake in the Hills, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Oct. 17 in McHenry County. 

5:34 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Deana A. Dion, 33, at Bunker Hill Drive and Golden Eagle Drive for driving while license revoked, speeding and no proof of insurance. Dion, of 660 Bluestem Lane in Algonquin, was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on Oct. 23 in McHenry County. 

7:50 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Barbara J. Bush, 46, at TJ Maxx, 832 S. Randall Road, for retail theft. Bush of Hampshire was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Oct. 31 in Algonquin. 

Sept. 16

9:59 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Richard J. Lenhardt, 29, at Bucky's, 101 Pyott Road, for driving while license suspended and suspended registration. Lenhardt of Fox River Grove was later released on bond. 

11:29 a.m.: An ambulance was called to Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills, to assist a 10-year-old boy who hurt his neck while playing football. The boy was taken to Woodstock Hospital. 

2:24 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Thomas J. Dorsch, 53, at Chase Bank, 1305 E. Algonquin Road in Algonquin, for battery. Dorsch, of 2 Barharbor Court in Lake in the Hills, was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Oct. 17 in McHenry County.

3:27 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to the 2800 block of Briaricliff Lane for a report of landscaping bricks that were thrown into a pool. The criminal damage to property report was under investigation by the reporting officer.  

7:50 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested a 14-year-old Algonquin boy at the Algonquin Police Department, 5200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, for unlawful restraint and criminal sexual abuse. The boy was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents. 

Sept. 17

12:11 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Wallace J. Wolff, 60, at his home at 906 Harrison St. in Algonquin on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing. 

5:45 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Jennifer F. Lupo, 35, at Algonquin and Square Barn roads for driving while license revoked and no valid insurance. Lupo, of 10 Litchfield Court in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

5:37 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police responded to an accident at Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive for a two-vehicle accident. A 30-year-old woman reported head and neck pain and a 6-year-old boy and 12-year-old boy were taken to Sherman Hospital as a precaution. Property was also damaged in the crash.  

6:19 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Douglas A. Harris, 35, at Virginia Road and Route 31 for driving while license suspended. Harris of Crystal Lake was later released on bond. 

Sept. 18

10:47 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Ramon Frayre, 25, at Algonquin and Randall roads for driving while license suspended and no valid registration. Frayre, of 119 Pheasant Trail in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

2:26 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Stafford Hicks, 53, at Oakleaf and Algonquin roads for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance. Hicks of Crystal lake was transported to McHenry County Jail.
