The Lake in the Hills Police Department provided information on the following reports from Sunday and Monday:

Criminal Damage to Property Complaints

Police responded to three separate reports of criminal damage to property early this week. On Sunday, police were called to the 4900 block of Princeton Lane for a report of damage to exterior lights and the garage door and later to the 2600 block of Waterford Lane for a report of a flowerpot and garage door that had been damaged, according to the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s daily bulletin. The first report was called in at 8:46 p.m. and the second at 8:58 p.m. On Monday, police were called at 1:20 a.m. to the 600 block of Mason Lane for a report of Christmas deer decorations that were damaged. All of these reports were turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s investigations unit.

Hit and Run

Property was damaged Monday morning when a vehicle hit a fire hydrant and then left the scene, according to the daily bulletin. The accident occurred in the area of Miller Road and Litchfield Lane around 10:11 a.m. Monday.

Domestic Battery

Police were called for an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Annandale Drive. A father reportedly pushed his daughter around 10:09 p.m. Monday, according to the daily bulletin.
