Cary Woman Arrested for Hit and Run at Village, Randall Roads

Jessica Priest is accused of causing an accident at the intersection and then leaving the scene.

Police arrested a 33-year-old Cary woman Friday for a hit and run accident that happened Thursday morning.

The crash occurred at 9:21 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Village and Randall roads.

Judy Spencer, 62, of Huntley, was driving south on Randall Road near Village Road when another vehicle northbound on Randall turned in front of her vehicle, causing the collision, said Sgt. Don Fowler, Lake in the Hills Police Department.

That vehicle then left the scene of the accident. Spencer was not injured in the crash but her vehicle was damaged.

While investigating the case, a Lake in the Hills Police Department officer received a tip that Jessica Priest, 33, of Cary, may have been involved. The officer made contact with Priest who later turned herself in.
