Car Collision Near MCC Sends One Person to Hospital
Two-car collision occurred at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Route 14 and Lucas Road in Crystal Lake.
A multi-vehicle crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Route 14 and Lucas Road near McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, according to dispatch notices on Lake & McHenry Scanner.
Preliminary reports said two cars were involved the accident, and an ambulance was transporting one person to Centegra Hospital-Woodstock.
Another person was being evaluated by paramedics at the scene, but didn't appear to need medical transport, the dispatch stated.
Traffic was backed up for some time, but the cars and debris had been removed as of 12:25 p.m. Crystal Lake Police were expected to continue investigating the crash.
