Drunken Driving Arrest at Moretti's

Police arrested a 24-year-old Carpentersville man on a charge of drunken driving at , 220 N. Randall Road, about 3:39 a.m. Saturday. The man was turned over to McHenry County Jail.

A 48-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Randall and Algonquin roads about 7:47 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving while license suspended and driving without insurance. He later was released on bond.

A 49-year-old Poplar Grove man was arrested near Randall and Algonquin roads about 11:32 a.m. Saturday on a Boone County warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery bodily harm. He was turned over to McHenry County Jail. 

Injury Accident/Drunken Driving 

A 51-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to give aid, failure to give information, failure to notify, operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over .08, disregard for a traffic-control device, violation of driver's license restrictions and a brake equipment violation. A 64-year-old woman was taken to Sherman Hospital after the accident. The Lake in the Hills man was later released on bond. 

Retail Theft

An 18-year-old Huntley man was arrested at , 101 N. Randall Road, on charges of retail theft, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia about 7:53 p.m. Saturday. He later was released on bond.

Injury Accident

A 19-year-old was taken to Woodstock Memorial Hospital after being involved in a three-vehicle accident near the intersection of Hilltop Drive and Algonquin Road about 1:26 p.m. Saturday. 

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol

A 30-year-old Crystal Lake man was arrested near Frank Road and Peartree Drive about 1:17 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use. He later was released on bond. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol 

A 64-year-old Barrington Hills man was arrested near Pyott and Algonquin roads about 1:20 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content over .08, improper lane use and improper turn at the intersection. He later was released on bond. 

Underage Drinking Arrest

A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested in the 600 block of Anderson Drive about 4 a.m. Sunday on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and curfew violation. He was later released to a parent. 

Wanted on a Warrant

A 31-year-old Elgin man was arrested near Lakewood and Miller roads about 10:21 a.m. Sunday on a Carol Stream Police Department warrant for aggravated driving under the influence. The man was turned over to the Carol Stream Police Department. 

Domestic Battery

A 41-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 5400 Block of Crossview Lane on a charge of domestic battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail. 

Injury Accident

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Algonquin and Crystal Lake roads about 2:27 p.m. Sunday. A 40-year-old woman with a reported back injury was taken to Sherman Hospital. 

Hit and Run

Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Randall and Miller roads about 3:07 p.m. Sunday, where they learned a silver-colored Hyundai struck a black Nissan, which then struck a white Pontiac. The offending vehicle then reportedly left the scene.
