Blotter: Woman Charged With Battery; Drunken Driving Arrests

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

A 46-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Miller and Greenfield roads about 11:56 p.m. Friday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content over .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane use and an equipment violation. He later was released on bond. 

Fleeing/Attempting to Elude

An officer attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding near the 6900 Rakow Road about 1:45 a.m. Friday. The vehicle fled the area and eluded the officer.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

A 29-year-old Streamwood woman was arrested near Skyridge Drive and Ackman Road about 2:04 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding in a construction zone. She later was released on bond. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

A 21-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Anderson Drive and Willow Street about 11:32 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving off the roadway and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He later was released on bond.

Neck Injury

An ambulance was called to , 9200 Haligus Road, about 1:39 p.m. Saturday for a report of a 13-year-old boy who injured his neck while playing basketball. He was taken to Woodstock Memorial Hospital. 

Criminal Defacement

Police received a report of criminal defacement for spray paint graffiti found on a community mailbox in the 100 block of Village Creek Drive. The report is under investigation.

Home Burglary

Items reportedly were taken from a refrigerator in a garage in the 3200 block of Banford Circle about 4:51 p.m. Saturday. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

A 28-year-old West Dundee man was arrested at , 101 N. Randall Road, about 4:01 a.m. Sunday on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol while license revoked, disobeying a traffic control device and no valid insurance. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail. 

Domestic Battery

A 21-year-old Huntley woman was arrested near Melbourne Lane and Albrecht Road about 5:20 p.m. Sunday on charges of domestic battery-bodily harm and domestic battery-physical contact. She was transported to Sherman Hospital and then taken to the McHenry County Jail. 

Burglary

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 800 block of Willow Street about 8:31 p.m. Sunday. Three subjects entered a home. Nothing was reportedly stolen from the home.
