Blotter: Warrants Served; Cars Burglarized
Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Thursday through Sunday.
Wanted on Warrant: Police arrested a 32-year-old Lake in the Hills woman at 10:53 p.m., Sunday, who was wanted on a warrant by McHenry County for contempt of court. She posted $100 bond and was released.
Wanted on a Warrant: At 6:58 p.m., Sunday, police arrested a 50-year-old woman from Crystal Lake who was wanted on warrant our of Boone County for traffic offenses. Bond was set at $373 and she was turned over to McHenry County Jail.

Lightning strike: Police responded to a call on Castle Pine Court, at 8:36 a.m., Sunday for a house struck by lightning.
Burglary to vehicle: Police responded to a call for a burglary to a vehicle on the 300 block of Pheasant Trail, Thursday. Unknown items may have been taken from an unsecured vehicle.
Laptop burglary: On Thursday, police received a report of a laptop and books taken from an unsecured vehicle on the 100 block of Maple Street.
Radar detector taken: A radar detector was taken from an unsecured vehicle on Princeton Court Thursday. The vehicle was unsecured.
Graffiti report: Police are investigating a report of criminal defacement to property Thursday. A retaining wall around a pond on the 400 block of Vilage Creek Drive was defaced with graffiti.
