Battery
A 46-year-old Barrington man was arrested at Brightstar, 4590 Princeton Lane, about 10:16 a.m. Thursday on a battery charge. He later was released on bond.
Driving While License Suspended

A 19-year-old South Elgin man was arrested near Village Creek Drive and Acorn Drive about 7:26 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving while license suspended and registration suspended mandatory insurance violation. He later was released on bond.

A 26-year-old McHenry woman was arrested near Algonquin and Square Barn roads about 11:13 a.m. Friday on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear possession and operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a driver's license expired within six months or less. She later was released on bond.
Liquor Violation
An 18-year-old Huntley man was arrested near Albrecht Road and Banbury Lane about 1:58 p.m. Friday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was given a notice to appear in court.
Wanted on Warrant
A 27-year-old Midlothian man was arrested in the 900 block of Cynthia Lane about 2:57 p.m. Friday on a Cook County warrant for traffic offenses. He later was released on bond.
Interference with a Court-Ordered Visitation
A 34-year-old Marengo woman was arrested at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road, about 8:27 p.m. Friday on a charge of interference with a court-ordered visitation. She later was released on bond.
Retail Theft
Lake in the Hills Police arrested a Chicago man and two Chicago teens at Lowes, 300 N. Randall Road, on charges of retail theft about 5:47 p.m. Friday. A 41-year-old Chicago man was arrested on a charge of retail theft greater than $300 and was taken to the McHenry County Jail. An 18-year-old Chicago woman and a 14-year-old Chicago girl also were arrested on a charge of retail theft greater than $300 as well as resisting/obstructing. The 18-year-old was taken to McHenry County Jail and the 14-year-old girl was taken to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center.
Hit and Run
A 21-year-old Algonquin woman was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper lane use and failure to give aid or information. She later was released on bond.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
Several items were taken from a vehicle overnight Thursday in the 1300 block of Algonquin Road. Police received the burglary report at 7:45 a.m. Friday and are investigating.
Theft
A pressure washer was taken from a driveway overnight Thursday in the 200 block of Indian Trail. Police received the burglary report about 8:15 a.m. Friday and are investigating.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
A timing belt was reportedly cut on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Algonquin Road overnight Thursday and reported to police at 8:24 a.m. Friday. The report is under investigation.
Theft
Money was taken from a home in the 1100 block of Maple Street. Police received the report about 6:32 p.m. Friday.
Wanted on Warrant
A 21-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at Cedar Ridge Plaza, 2118 Algonquin Road, about 7:26 a.m. Saturday on McHenry County warrants for trespassing and possession of a syringe and a Kane County warrant for drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to McHenry County Jail.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
An iPod and charger were taken from a vehicle Thursday in the 100 block of Pheasant Trail from an unlocked vehicle. Police received the report about 12:11 p.m. Saturday.
Dog Bite
A 30-year-old man was bitten by a stray dog at Normandy Park, 680 Normandy Lane, on Saturday night. The dog bite was reported to police about 9:01 a.m. Sunday.
Endangering Life/Health of a Child
Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of drugs being provided to juveniles in the 900 block of Mesa Drive. Police received the report about 4:51 p.m. Sunday.
Hit and Run
Lake in the Hills police are investigating a hit and run in the 3400 block of Sonoma Circle about 10:54 a.m. Sunday. The report is under investigation.
