Blotter: Teens Arrested on Drug Charges

Drunken Driving Arrest

A 23-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at , 231 N. Randall Road, around 3:16 a.m. Wednesday. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to give aid or information, driving while license revoked and driving without valid insurance. He was later released on bond.

A 28-year-old McHenry man was pulled over near Patton Avenue and Miller Road around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday and arrested for driving while license suspended, defective windshield and driving without insurance. He was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for domestic battery, a warrant out of Elgin for failure to appear on traffic offenses and for three warrants out of Kane County — all for driving while his license was suspended.

A 23-year-old Elgin man was pulled over in the area of Cunat Court and Oak Street around 5:03 p.m. Wednesday and arrested for driving while license suspended and speeding. He was later released on bond. 

Bench Fire

assisted the with a bench fire in the 10 block of Walter Court around 7:06 p.m. Wednesday. 

Possession of a Controlled Substance

A 19-year-old Carpentersville man and an 18-year-old Lake in the Hills woman were arrested near Algonquin and Crystal Lake roads around 4:01 p.m. Thursday on drug charges. The man was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a defective windshield. He was taken to McHenry County Jail. The woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana - less than 2.5 grams. She was later released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

A 29-year-old Carpentersville man was pulled over near Cedar Ridge Drive and Algonquin Road around 7:43 p.m. Thursday and arrested for driving while license suspended. He was later released on bond. 

Unlawful Possession of a Fraudulent ID Card

A 20-year-old Huntley man was arrested in the 100 block of Bridlewood Circle for unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card.
