Blotter: Teens Arrested for Damage, Curfew Violation; Battery Reported

Drunken Driving

A 26-year-old Chicago woman was arrested in the area of Hilltop Drive and Bernice Drive around 12:55 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol over .08 and improper lane usage. She later was released on bond.

Criminal Damage to Property/Curfew Violation

A 14-year-old Huntley boy and a 14-year-old Lake in the Hills boy were arrested about 11:24 p.m. Sunday in the 5400 block of Danburry Court. The Huntley teen was charged with criminal damage to property and curfew violation. The LITH teen charged with violating curfew. Both were petitioned to appear before a peer jury and then were released to their parents.

Battery

Police were called to the area of Lake Drive and Pheasant Trail about 10:46 p.m. Sunday for a report of a battery involving several juveniles. No reports were filed in the incident.

Ambulance Assist

An ambulance was called to the 100 block of Wander Way about 2:53 p.m. Monday for a 66-year-old man who reportedly took too many prescribed pills while intoxicated. The man was taken to Sherman Hospital.

Wanted on Warrant

Police arrested a 24-year-old Lake in the Hills man on several warrants, including an Illinois Department of Corrections parole violation and McHenry County warrants for domestic battery, mob action and armed violence. He was arrested in the 3800 block of Thornberry Way about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and turned over to the McHenry County Jail.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 25-year-old Romeoville woman at the Bank of America, 2450 Algonquin Road, about 2:26 p.m. Tuesday on charges of driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic-control device. She later was released on bond.

No Valid Driver's License

A 24-year-old Huntley man was arrested near Lakewood and Algonquin roads about 9:54 p.m. Tuesday on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license and driving with a registration suspension for a mandatory insurance violation. He later was released on bond.

Puncture Holes in Boat

Police were called to Redi-Weld, 8711 Pyott Road, about 11 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a pontoon boat with puncture holes in it. The report was made for insurance purposes.

Theft

Police are investigating a report of a theft of a leather jacket from the 700 block of Parc Court about 5:58 p.m. Tuesday.
