Blotter: Teen Faces Drug Charge; Burglaries to Vehicles

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A 17-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested near Algonquin Road and Annandale Drive about 9:43 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and driving without insurance. He later was released to a parent. 

Theft

received a report of lawn ornaments taken from the 1200 block of Patton Avenue about 10:28 a.m. Wednesday. The report is under investigation. 

Injury Accident

Police responded to a crash near Hilltop Drive and Crystal Lake Road about 5:39 p.m. Wednesday. A 44-year-old man was taken to Woodstock Memorial Hospital after complaining of being disoriented.

Battery

A complainant reportedly had inappropriate contact at the , 4500 W. Algonquin Road, about 6:13 p.m. Wednesday. The report is under investigation.

Theft

A bicycle reportedly was taken from a garage in the 900 block of Noelle Bend about 7:51 p.m. Tuesday. Police are investigating. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Reports of burglaries to motor vehicles were made Tuesday at Pyott Self Storage, 1401 Industrial Drive. Two reports were made to police at 8:19 and 8:47 p.m. regarding recreational vehicles that were entered and items that were removed.

Damage

Police received a report that a car window was shattered in the 5400 block of Chancery Way about 11:24 a.m. Monday. Police are investigating. 

Unlawful Acquisition of Controlled Substance

An individual reportedly obtained prescription medication by using a false name at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road, about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
