Police arrested a 16-year-old Lake in the Hills in the 4500 block of Barharbor Drive at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was later released to a parent.

Police arrested a 24-year-old Carpentersville man in the 2900 block of Talaga Drive at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday for speeding 40 miles per hour over the speed limit. He was later released on bond.
