Blotter: 'Substance' Found at Marlowe; Wakeboard, Bike Stolen

No Valid Insurance

A 20-year-old Elgin woman was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate around 9:06 p.m. Friday for not having a valid Illinois license and for driving with an expired registration.

Theft at Moretti's

Lake in the Hills Police were called to Moretti's, 220 N. Randall Road, around 3:03 a.m. Friday for a report of a stolen coat, iPhone holder and keys. The theft report is under investigation.

Police were called to Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, around 1:52 p.m. Friday for a report of a "substance" found at the school.

Bike Stolen

Police received a report of a bike that was stolen in front of AMC Theaters, 311 N. Randall Road, around 5:10 p.m Friday. The report was turned over to Lake in the Hills Police Department's investigation unit. 

No Valid Illinois License

A 31-year-old Harvard man was arrested Saturday night at Hobbytown, 9200 Pyott Road, for not having a valid Illinois license, defective windshield, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with no safety sticker on the trailer. The man was arrested around 7:48 p.m. Saturday and later released on bond.

Wakeboard Stolen

A wakeboard was stolen out of the complainant's truck bed in the 5300 block of Briarfield Lane around 4:49 p.m. Saturday.

Assist Other Police Agency

The Lake in the Hills Police Department assisted the McHenry County Sheriff's Department with a reported intoxicated subject at Town Liquors, 1127 Algonquin Road, around 7:18 p.m. Sunday. The person was taken to McHenry County Jail.
