Driving While Suspended

A 27-year-old Lake in the Hills man was pulled over near Rakow and Pingree roads about 7:28 p.m. Monday and charged with driving with a suspended license. He later was released on bond.

Hit and Run

A vehicle reportedly hit a mailbox in the 500 block of Bernyce Drive about 6:17 p.m. Monday and then left the area.

Ambulance Assist

An ambulance was called to the 100 block of Deer Path about 7:45 p.m. Monday to assist a 17-year-old boy needing an evaluation. The boy was taken to Sherman Hospital.

Retail Theft

Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road, reported about 7:24 p.m. Tuesday the theft of $500 worth of razor blades.

Child Abuse

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of child abuse in a home on Monroe Street. The report was made about 4:42 p.m. Tuesday.  

Wanted on a Warrant

A 32-year-old man was arrested on a warrant at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road, about 7:54 p.m. Wednesday on charges of fraud-insufficient funds. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Domestic Battery

Police were called to a home on Clark Avenue for a domestic battery between a mother and a daughter about 4:56 a.m. Wednesday. An ambulance was called to that residence to take a 58-year-old woman needing an evaluation to Sherman Hospital.

Theft

A safe reportedly was stolen from the beach house at Indian Trail Beach, 228 Indian Trail. The report was made about 11:58 a.m. Wednesday.

Motor Vehicle Burglary

An iPod and money were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4400 block of Heron Drive. Police received the report at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday.
