Driving Under Influence/Accident

A 39-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 3000 block of Impressions Drive around 1:26 a.m. Sunday for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use.

The man, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was later released on bond.

A 26-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 300 block of Hiawatha Drive around 3:44 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane use, driving too fast for condition, driving without any valid insurance and failure to give aid or information.

The man, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was later released on bond.

Domestic Battery

A 39-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 1400 block of Deer Creek Lane around 7:11 p.m. Sunday on two counts of domestic battery.

The man, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence

A 27-year-old Algonquin woman was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Berg Street around 3:10 a.m. Friday.

She was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The woman, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was taken to McHenry County Jail.  

Criminal Damage to State Supported Property

Two Lake in the Hills teens were arrested Friday night on charges of criminal damage to state supported property.

The teens — a 13-year-old LITH boy and a 14-year-old LITH boy — were taken into custody at Larsen Island, 1111 Pyott Road, around 8:23 p.m. Friday.

The boys — whose names will not be released since they are minors — were later released to their parents.

Driving Under Influence

A 25-year-old Cary man was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Berg Street around 1:49 a.m. Thursday.

He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The man, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was later released on bond.

Driving While Suspended

A 45-year-old Lake in the Hills man was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Lake Drive around 10:38 a.m. Thursday.

He was arrested for driving while license suspended. The man, whose name is being withheld since formal charges have not been listed on the court's public access website, was later released on bond.

 

REPORTS: The following reports were made to LITH Police Department between Thursday and Sunday.

Domestic Battery

The Lake in the Hills Police Department is investigating a report of a domestic battery between a husband and wife in the 3800 block of Thornberry Way. The domestic was reported around 12:07 a.m. Sunday.

Accident at Car Wash

A vehicle was reportedly damaged by car wash equipment at the Car Wash, 2200 W. Algonquin Road. A report was made to police for insurance purposes at 12:04 p.m. Sunday.

Ambulance Called

An ambulance was called to Rolling Hills Park, 4443 Rolling Hills Drive, around 9:22 p.m. Sunday, for a report of a 17-year-old boy who needed an evaluation. The teen was taken to an area hospital.

An ambulance was called to the area of Miller Road and Springlake Drive around 7:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of a 17-year-old boy who had a head injury from a fall. The boy was taken to an area hospital.

Hit and Run

A vehicle was reportedly struck in the first block of Hunters Path around 8:15 p.m. Saturday by another vehicle that then left the scene.

Criminal Damage to Property

A tree was reportedly damaged at Avalon Park, 5395 Avalon Lane. The report was made to police at 10:36 p.m. Friday.

Retail Theft

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a reported theft of a bottle of Rogaine from Dominick's, 101 N. Randall Road. The report was made to police around 3:07 p.m. Thursday.

Ambulance Called

An ambulance was called to the 1100 block of Moonstone Run around 7:18 p.m. Thursday for a report of a 11-year-old boy with a head injury. The boy was taken to an area hospital.
