Blotter: Motorcycle Crash; Teen Nabbed in Criminal Damage
Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Monday through Wednesday.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle: Police arrested a 17-year-old Lake in the Hills boys about 11:21 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Blackberry Court on a charge of criminal damage to vehicle. The boy later was released to his parents.
Retail Theft: A retail theft report was taken at , 101 N. Randall Road, about 12:51 a.m. Monday. The theft is under investigation.
Information for Police: Police responded to the , 149 Hilltop Drive, about 5:43 p.m. Monday for a report of juveniles swimming in a nondesignated swimming area. The juveniles were turned over to their parents.

Motorcycle Accident: At least one person was taken to Good Shepherd Hospital around 7:24 a.m. Tuesday after a motorcycle drove into the ditch at 6900 Rakow Road. No additional information is immediately available.
Burglary From Vehicle: Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of a purse taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Stickley Lane. The report was made about 7:54 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary From Vehicle: Items were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4800 block of Princeton Lane. The burglary was reported about 7:47 p.m. Tuesday.
Criminal Damage to Property: Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of a 22-year-old man who broke items at a home in the 100 block of Woody Way about 6:39 p.m. Tuesday.
Domestic: Police responded to a domestic battery between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 300 block of Pocahontas Trail about 5:57 p.m. Wednesday. They also checked on a 2-year-old girl with a possible heat stroke. No one was taken to a hospital.
Ambulance Called to Skate Park: An ambulance was called to 2 E. Oak St. for a report of an 11-year-old boy who fell off his skateboard about 7:07 p.m. Wednesday. The boy was not taken to an area hospital.
