Blotter: Police Arrest Man on Drug Charges; Snow Blower Stolen

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

arrested a 23-year-old Wonder Lake Saturday evening in the 8400 block of Route 31 on drug and theft charges. He was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana (less than 2.5 grams) and theft under $500. He was also cited for not having a valid driver's license and improper display of registration.

Battery Reported at Taco Bell

Police responded to , 231 N. Randall Road, around 10:44 p.m. where they arrested a 37-year-old Algonquin man on a battery charge. He was later released on bond.

Drunken Driving Arrest

Police pulled over a 41-yer-old Wonder Lake woman in the area of Acorn Lane and Village Creek Road around 10:45 p.m. Saturday. She was arrested on drunken driving charges, failure to give information and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. She was also cited for improper lane usage. She was later released on bond.

Burglary From Motor Vehicle

A resident living in the 1400 block of Monroe Street called police around 1:43 a.m. Saturday to report items taken from a vehicle. A purse, wallet and miscellaneous papers were taken. Police did locate some of the items on another street.

Dog Bite Reported

Police were called for a report of a dog bit in the 5300 block of Briarfield Lane around 10:42 a.m. Saturday Animal control was notified.

Snow Blower Taken

A resident living in the 100 block of Hilltop Drive called police around 12:32 p.m. Thursday for a report of a snow blower taken from the residence.

Criminal Defacement at

Police were called around 3:45 p.m. Thursday for a report of juveniles criminally defacing a slide with markers. The report is under investigation. 

Drunken Driving Arrest

A 47-year-old Huntley man was pulled over in the area of Ellis Road and Algonquin Road around 12:39 a.m. Friday. He was arrested on drunken driving charges. He was also cited for improper lane usage, for not having valid insurance and improperly turning at an intersection. He was later released on bond.

Improper Use of Registration

Police were called to the , 8407 Pyott Road, around 7:32 a.m. Saturday. A 32-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested for improper use of registration and later released on bond.
