LITH Police Make Arrests for Theft, Drunken Driving

Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Wednesday through Saturday.

Domestic Reported on Clark Avenue

Police were called to the 10 block of Clark Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a juvenile male that was  hit in the head by a calculator. The incident is under investigation.

Police were called to the first block of Grant Avenue for a report of damage to a garage door around 9:42 a.m. Wednesday. 

LITH Man Arrested For Stealing Computer
A 23-year-old Lake in the Hills faces a theft charge for reportedly stealing a computer Thursday. Brian Charlie Hernandez, 701 Mohican Trail, was charged Friday in McHenry County Court after being arrested by Lake in the Hills Police around 12:46 p.m. Thursday. He is next expected in court on Tuesday.

Two Domestics Reported Within Hours on Hiawatha Drive

Police were called at 3:13 a.m. and 4:38 a.m. Thursday for reports of domestic battery between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 300 block of Hiawatha Drive. The boyfriend and girlfriend have had six prior contacts with police.

Carpentersville Man Arrested For Drunken Driving

A 27-year-old Carpentersville man was pulled over in the area of Randall Road and Algonquin Road around 3:36 a.m. Friday. He was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a revoked license and also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was later released on bond.

Teens Arrested For Retail Theft

An Algonquin teen and Carpentersville teen were arrested Friday night for retail theft at Dominick's, 101 N. Randall Road. The teens -- both 17 years old -- were later released to their parents.

Miter Saw Stolen From Village Creek Drive

Lake in the Hills Police are investigating a theft that reportedly occured in the 100 block of Village Creek Drive. A mitter saw was reportedly taken on Tuesday between 3:40 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.
