Blotter: LITH Man Arrested for Sexual Assault; Teen Arrested for Speeding

The Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Thursday through Sunday.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 33-year-old Woodstock man at Algonquin and Ruth roads at 10:56 p.m. Thursday for driving while license suspended. He was later released on bond. 

Unlawful of a Controlled Substance

Police arrested a 19-year-old Crystal Lake man for unlawful possession of a controlled substance at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road, at 4:11 p.m. on Thursday. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail. 

Criminal Sexual Assault

Police arrested a 52-year-old Lake in the Hills man in the 400 block of East Oak Street for criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse at 6:19 p.m. on Thursday. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Police arrested a 27-year-old Algonquin woman at 1111 Pyott Road at 2:27 p.m. on Friday for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. She was later released on bond. 

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle

Police arrested a 42-year-old Lake in the Hills man in the 5400 block of Whitemore Way for criminal damage to a vehicle and disorderly conduct at 7:36 p.m. on Friday. He was later released on bond. 

Injury Accident

Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Lakewood Road and Algonquin Road at 5:57 p.m. on Friday. A 40-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a neck injury. 

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested a 20-year-old Algonquin man at Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate at 3:31 a.m. Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content over .08, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and no rear registration light. He was later released on bond. 

Disorderly Conduct 

Police arrested a 13-year-old Lake in the Hills boy at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, at 11:14 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct. He was later released to his parents. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 37-year-old Carpentersville man at Randall and Algonquin roads at 4:40 p.m. Sunday for driving while license suspended, child restraint violation and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was later released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 19-year-old Algonquin man at Randall and Miller roads at 5:13 p.m. Sunday for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was later released on bond. 

Speeding Arrest

Police arrested an 18-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Algonquin Road and Boulder Drive at 6:51 p.m. for speeding 40 miles per hour over the speed limit. He was later released on bond. 

Domestic Battery Report

A Lake in the Hills Police Department officer is investigating a domestic battery report between an ex-boyfriend and an ex-girlfriend at Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria, 220 N. Randall Road, at 10:25 p.m. Sunday.
