An 18-year-old LITH man was taken into custody Thursday morning on child pornography charges.
The arrest came following a joint investigation by the Lake in the Hills Police Department, Huntley Police Department and the Illinois Attorney General's office, according to a LITH Police Department press release. A search warrant was executed of a home on Rochelle Court where the press release states evidence was found to support charges against the teen.
The press release also states that the teen allegedly did not know the children depicted in the photos. The teen was taken to McHenry County Jail and faces child pornography charges.
