Blotter: Hit and Run at Theater; Trespassing Arrest

Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Thursday through Sunday.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police arrested a 36-year-old Lake in the Hills man near the intersection of Seminole Trail and Willow Street around 8:21 p.m. Thursday for a charge of criminal damage to property. His name is being withheld since charges have not been filed on the McHenry County Court's public access website. He was later released on bond.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Crystal Lake man on a warrant Thursday around 10:39 p.m. near Randall and Miller roads for failure to appear for crimes, no valid registration and no valid insurance. His name is being withheld since charges have not been filed on the McHenry County Court's public access website. The man was later released on bond.

Criminal Trespassing

Police conducted a follow-up arrest of a 20-year-old Wonder Lake woman in the 800 block of Navajo Trail Thursday for a charge of criminal trespassing to a residence. The trespassing was reported at 9:04 a.m. on July 13. The woman was later released on bond and her name is being withheld since charges have not been filed on the McHenry County Court's public access website.

Damage to Vehicle

Police received a report from the 3800 block of Blackberry Drive around 4:16 p.m. Thursday of one vehicle that had been spray painted and another that had a slashed tire. Both reports are under investigation.

Vehicle Burglary

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of a stereo and GPS stolen from a locked vehicle in the 200 block of North Annandale Drive around 8:05 a.m. Friday.

Vehicle Burglary

Police are investigating a report of items removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 5500 block of Chantilly Circle around 6:09 p.m. Friday.

Hit and Run

LITH Police responded to a report of a hit and run at Lake in the Hills, 311 N. Randall Road, around 9:27 p.m. Saturday. A vehicle reportedly hit another vehicle in the parking lot and then drove away.  

Ambulance Assist

An ambulance called to Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, took a 32-year-old man with a facial injury to an area hospital around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

DCFS Called

The Department of Children and Family Services was called regarding a child walking on Algonquin Road near Lakewood around around 5:51 p.m. Sunday.
