Firefighters and police were called to a home in the 900 block of Viewpoint Drive for a grill that started a deck on fire about 8:39 p.m. Monday.
Domestic Battery
Police arrested a 43-year-old Lake in the Hills man in the 300 block of Tecumseh Trail on two counts of domestic battery about 10:28 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail.
Reckless Conduct
A 17-year-old Huntley boy was arrested about 11:19 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Village Creek Drive for hosting an underage drinking party. He was released to a parent.
Hit and Run
A light pole was struck overnight in the 200 block of Course Drive and was reported to police at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday.
Accident
A mail truck struck a parked car in the 2700 block of Melbourne Lane about 12:10 p.m. Only property was damaged in the crash.
