Blotter: Freightliner Cab Stolen; Vehicle Runs Into Car Wash

Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Lake in the Hills Police Department provided the following information in its daily bulletins for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday:

Injury Accident, Other Crashes on Monday and Tuesday

The driver of a vehicle was taken to Sherman Hospital following a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive around 7:39 p.m. Monday. There were four other accidents Monday, but no other crashes resulted in hospital transports, according to LITH Police Department's daily bulletin. All of the crashes on Monday occurred after 2 p.m. There were also five accidents on Tuesday in the village – none of which resulted in injuries, according to LITH police. All of those crashes occurred between 2:30 and 8:40 p.m.

Freightliner Regular Cab Stolen from Cory Properties

The Lake in the Hills Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle report. A 24-foot white 1997 freightliner regular cab was stolen from Cory Properties, 1521 Imoff Drive, and reported around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Man Faces Charges for Tresspassing

A 20-year-old man could face charges for criminal trespassing after he entered a home on the first block of Deer Path without the homeowner's consent. He allegedly entered the home around 1:32 a.m. Wednesday.

Vehicle Runs Into Car Wash

A vehicle collided with a car wash building at Mobil, 101 Pyott Road, around 11:24 p.m. Wednesday. Only the property was damaged in the accident and no one was injured, according to the LITH Police Department's daily bulletin.

Unresponsive Woman Taken to Hospital

A 47-year-old woman was found unresponsive in the 900 block of McPhee Drive. Police are investigating the incident and police allegedly found the woman in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were called to the home around 4:48 p.m. Wednesday.
