Blotter: Five Teens Arrested for Underage Drinking

Drunken Driving Arrest

Police arrested a 32-year-old Lake in the Hills man at McHenry Avenue and Randall Road at 3:12 a.m. on Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with breath alcohol content greater than .08, speeding in a construction zone and driving without license on person. He was later released on bond. 

Domestic Battery/Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Police arrested five area teens on underage drinking charges after getting called to a home in the first block of Medinah Court around 3:58 a.m. Saturday. A domestic battery complaint was a failure to file. Police arrested a 17-year-old Carpentersville girl, a 17-year-old Algonquin girl, a 16-year-old Carpentersville girl and a 18-year-old Algonquin man for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. A notice to appear was issued for the Algonquin man and the girls were later released to a parent. A 19-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested on a charge of hosting a gathering where alcohol beverages were served to minors and was issued a notice to appear. 

Drunken Driving Arrest

Police arrested a 42-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Oak Street and Decatur Avenue at 9:43 a.m. Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs and improper lane use. He was later released on bond. 

Battery

Police responded to around 3:08 a.m. Saturday for a male versus male battery complaint.

Theft

Police received a theft report in the first block of Joseph Court around 12:46 p.m. Saturday regarding tools that were taken from a garage. The report was turned over to investigations. 

Domestic Battery

Police responded to a domestic battery reported on Northlight Passe at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday between a son and his mother and father.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Crystal Lake man at Crystal Lake Road and Hunters Path at 1:46 a.m. Sunday for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol content greater than .08. He was later released on bond. 

Drunken Driving Arrest

Police arrested a 22-year-old Lake in the Hills man at the , 101 Pyott Road, at 2:05 a.m. Sunday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 15 to 20 mph above speed limit and illegal transportation of open liquor. He was later released on bond. 

Drunken Driving Arrest

Police arrested a 32-year-old Crystal Lake man at Rakow Road and Pyott Road at 3:31 a.m. Sunday for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with breath alcohol content greater than .08, no insurance and speeding in a construction zone. He was later released on bond.
