Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

A 20-year-old South Elgin man was arrested in the 1400 block of Industrial Drive about 4:52 a.m. Saturday on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was given a notice to appear.

Lake in the Hills police conducted a follow-up arrest of a 15-year-old Huntley boy at at 3:02 p.m. Saturday on a battery charge. The boy later was released to a parent. 

Hit and Run

A vehicle was hit by another vehicle, which then left the scene of the crash, near Algonquin and Randall roads about 4:11 p.m. Saturday. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Lake in the Hills police received a criminal damage to property report regarding possible damage to grass behind about 4:16 p.m. Saturday. 

Accident

Police responded to about 1:33 p.m. Sunday on a report of a golf cart that collided with a vehicle. was under way at the park at that time. Property was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

Retail Theft

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of theft of liquor from about 4:28 p.m. Sunday. 

Structure Fire

was called to assist the fire department about 7:19 p.m. Sunday with a structure fire in the 1100 block of Cherry Street. 

Battery

Lake in the Hills police were called to about 8:40 p.m. for a battery report involving two females. The battery is under investigation.  was wrapping up it's final night Sunday at the time of the complaint.

Assist Ambulance

An ambulance was called to about 8:14 p.m. Sunday for a 15-year-old girl with a foot injury. She was taken to Woodstock Hospital.
