Blotter: Fire on Chantilly Circle; Man Arrested for Aggravated Battery

Visitation Interference

A 26-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was arrested in the 300 block of Council Trail around 10:12 a.m. Saturday. The woman was arrested on a warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear for a driving under the influence of alcohol charge and was issued a notice to appear for visitation interference. She was later released on bond.

Retail Theft

A 19-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at Dominick's, 101 N. Randall Road, Saturday around 8:24 p.m. on a retail theft charge. He was later released on bond.

Aggravated Battery

A 48-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 1100 block of Heavens Gate around 10:54 p.m. Saturday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Wanted on Warrant

A 40-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested on a warrant in the 900 block of Mesa Drive around 10:14 a.m. Saturday. The warrant was for a failure to appear in court in DeKalb County on an aggravated battery charge.

Five-Vehicle Accident

Police were called to the intersection of Randall Road and Algonquin Road around 2:02 p.m. Saturday for a five-vehicle accident. No one was injured. Property was damaged in the crash.

Wanted on Warrant

A 19-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was arrested on an arrest warrant in the 2000 block of Noelle Bend Street around 7:42 a.m. for failure to appear in McHenry County on a dangerous drug charge. She was later released on bond.

Driving While License Suspended

A 40-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was pulled over in the area of Miller Road and Heron Drive around 9:54 p.m. Friday and arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended. She was also cited for driving without insurance and without headlamps when required.

Driving While License Suspended

A 26-year-old Des Plaines man was pulled over in the area of Acorn Lane and Randall Road around 4:03 a.m. Friday for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for driving without headlamps when required. She was later released on bond.

Fire on Chantilly Circle

The police were called to a fire at a home in the 5500 block of Chantilly Circle to assist the fire department for an outdoor light fixture on garage that caught fire around 10:34 a.m. Thursday.
