Drunken Driving
LITH police arrested a 46-year-old Lake in the Hills man near Geneva Lane and Geneva Court about 6:46 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and having no insurance. The man’s name is not being released since charges have not yet been entered on the McHenry County Court’s public access website. The man later was released on bond.

Police made a follow-up arrest of a 28-year-old Lake in the Hills man in the 300 block of Council Trail about 6:42 p.m. Thursday on a charge of battery. The man later was released on bond. His name is not being released because charges have not yet been entered on the McHenry County Court’s public access website.

Police received a report of graffiti on skate ramps at the Sunset Skate Park, 5200 Miller Road, about 7:13 a.m. Thursday.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
Police received a report of a purse taken from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Cunat Court about 11:49 a.m. Thursday.
