Crystal Lake Man Arrested on Warrant

A 22-year-old Crystal Lake man was arrested on a warrant at the Lake in the Hills Police Department around 12:31 a.m. on Monday. He was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear for traffic offense and was transported to McHenry County Jail.

  • A 30-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at Ryder Park, 1216 Crystal Lake Road, around 12 p.m. Monday for driving with a suspended license. He was later released on bond.
  • A 41-year-old Napervill man was pulled over in the area of Algonquin Road and Berg Street around 9:17 p.m. Tuesday. He was arrested for driving with a suspended license and later released on bond. 

Hit and Run

Police were called about a hit and run incident that occurred at the intersection of Miller Road and Waterford Lane around 7:42 a.m. Monday. A vehicle hit a stop sign and then left the scene. No one was reportedly injured but property was damaged in the accident.

Identity Theft Reported

A person living in the 70 block of Polaris Drive called police around 2:08 p.m. on Monday to report that a social security number was being used by an unknown party. The report was turned over to Matteson Police Department. 

Domestic Reported at Steak 'n Shake

Police responded to the , 211 Randall Road, around 11:29 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a domestic. According to the report, an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend were involved in an verbal argument and had no prior contacts with police.
