Blotter: Domestic Battery; Drunken Driving; Underage Drinking

The Lake in the Hills Police Department received the following reports from Thursday through Sunday.

Warrant

A 22-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was arrested in the 1000 block of Maple Street on a McHenry County Sheriff's Department warrant about 8:02 a.m. Friday for possession of marijuana. She later was released on bond.

A 27-year-old man from Potosi, Wis., was arrested in the 100 block of Village Creek Drive about 1:04 p.m. Friday on a Winnebago Sheriff's Department warrant for failure to appear and driving after suspension. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

A 35-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 5500 block of Wildspring Drive about 7:52 a.m. Saturday on a Cook County warrant for a conditional release violation on a drunken driving charge. He later was released on bond. 

No Valid Driver's License/Expired

A 32-year-old St. Charles man was arrested at the intersection of Algonquin and Lakewood roads about 3:41 p.m. on a charge of no valid driver's license/expired for more than a year. He later was released on bond. 

No Valid Driver's License/Accident

A 22-year-old Crystal Lake man was arrested at Randall Road and Acorn Lane about 4:32 p.m. Saturday on charges of no valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He later was released on bond. 

Drunken Driving

An 18-year-old West Dundee man was arrested in the 300 block of Pheasant Trail about 2:28 a.m. Sunday on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was given a notice to appear.

Assist Ambulance

An ambulance was called to the 2300 block of Claremont Lane about 9:35 a.m. Sunday for a report of a 12-year-old boy who fell from his bike and was bleeding from his head. He was not transported to a hospital.

Domestic Battery

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a domestic battery reported in the 3800 block of Peartree Drive about 9:13 p.m. Sunday between a husband and a wife. A 48-year-old woman having difficulty breathing was taken to Woodstock Memorial Hospital. 

Criminal Damage

Police received a report of a vehicle damaged by a block of wood in the 1100 block of Poplar St. about 10:36 p.m. Thursday. The criminal damage to a vehicle is under investigation with the Lake in the Hills Police Department. 

Ambulance Assist

A 3-year-old boy was taken to Sherman Hospital about 4:49 p.m. Thursday after having an allergic reaction to an insect bite in the 200 block of Rainmaker Run. 

Theft

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a report of a black wallet being taken from a home in the 500 block of Mason Lane. The theft report was made about 9:50 a.m. Thursday. 

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle

A vehicle in the 5600 block of Danbury Court was damaged with a key. Police received the report about 8:44 a.m. Thursday.
