A 46-year-old Algonquin man was arrested in the 300 block of Village Creek Drive at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Lake in the Hills woman in the 300 block of Pyott Road at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday on two counts of domestic battery. She was taken to McHenry County Jail.
Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 20-year-old Crystal Lake woman at Ackman and Randall roads on charges of driving while license suspended and driving with a defective windshield and obstructed driver's view. She later was released on bond.
Missing Juvenile
Police received a report of a 16-year-old boy who had left his home for school and did not return home. The report was turned over to the police department's investigations unit.
Criminal Damage to a Vehicle
Police received a report of damage to a vehicle window in the 3900 block of Peartree Drive at 12:51 p.m. Monday. The criminal damage to a vehicle report was turned over to investigations.
Retail Theft
Police received a report of three cigars stolen from Cigarettes Depot, 162 N. Randall Road, at 3 p.m. Monday. The reporting officer is investigating the theft.
