Boys Arrested for Damage; Moretti's Battery Reports

Lake in the Hills police made several arrests over the weekend.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol 

A 26-year-old Chicago man was arrested near Brisbane Drive and Melbourne Lane about 4:31 a.m. Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. He later was released on bond. 

No Valid License

A 34-year-old Lake in the Hills man was pulled over near Pyott Road and Industrial Drive about 3:31 p.m. Sunday on charges of driving without a valid license and speeding. He later was released on bond.

A 22-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Litchfield Lane and Noelle Bend about 11:26 p.m. Sunday on charges of leaving the scene of a property-damage crash, failure to report a vehicle accident, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed and expired registration. He later was released on bond. 

Domestic Battery

A 30-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested in the 100 block of Oakleaf Drive about 11:22 pm. Sunday on two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail. 

Battery

Lake in the Hills police were called to , 220 N. Randall Road, about 2:37 a.m. Sunday for a battery report. The report remains under investigation with the .  

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

A GPS, iPod and CDs were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Pheasant Trail. The burglary to motor vehicle complaint was made about 12:19 p.m. Sunday. A GPS and iPod also were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Windstone Court and reported to police about 2:39 p.m. Sunday. 

Nuisance

Police responded to a well house at 550 Harvest Gate about 6:47 p.m. Sunday for a report of unknown subjects who started a fire. 

Battery

Police were called to , 101 N. Randall Road, around 10:08 p.m. Sunday for a report that a man was hit by multiple subjects. The battery report is under investigation by the . 

Driving Under the Influence

A 30-year-old Lake in the Hills woman was arrested near 6900 Rakow Road about 4 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and driving without vehicle insurance. She later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Revoked

A 21-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested near Oakleaf Drive and Algonquin Road about 3 p.m. Saturday and on charges of driving while license revoked and driving without insurance. He later was released on bond. 

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lake in the Hills police arrested a 20-year-old Crystal Lake woman and a 20-year-old Palatine man near Rakow and Pyott roads about 10:18 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of marijuana more than 10 grams and less than 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both later were released on bond. 

Battery

Police were called to , 220 N. Randall Road, about 2:58 a.m. Sunday for a report of four male subjects involved in a battery. 

Domestic Battery

Police are investigating a report of a domestic battery that occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 100 block of Oakleaf Road about 5:43 a.m. Saturday. 

Nuisance

Police were called to Chancery Way and Terramere Lane about 10:21 p.m. Saturday on a report of a crowd of juveniles that were in the street and being disruptive. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Police were called to the village's public works facility at 9200 Haligus Road about 9:22 a.m. Friday and arrested a 13-year-old Huntley boy and a 12-year-old Huntley boy for criminal damage to property. Both boys were released to their parents. 

Retail Theft

Police were called to , 101 N. Randall Road, about 10:25 p.m. Friday for a report of a juvenile caught stealing from the store. 

Trespass

A 41-year-old Lake Zurich man was arrested in the 90 block of Polaris Drive about 8:57 a.m. Thursday on a charge of trespassing on land. The man was taken to McHenry County Jail. 

Domestic Battery

A 40-year-old Huntley man was arrested at , 100 N. Randall Road, about 5:31 p.m. Thursday for a domestic battery. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.
