Blotter: Battery at Moretti's; Teen Arrested for Reckless Conduct

Reckless Conduct

Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 17-year-old Huntley boy at , 231 N. Randall Road, about 2:14 a.m. Sunday on charges of  reckless conduct, driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal consumption of alcohol. The teen was turned over to a parent.

Police arrested a 24-year-old Crystal Lake man after a battery report at , 220 N. Randall Road, about 3:18 a.m. Sunday. He later was released on bond. 

Criminal Damage to State-Supported Property

A 17-year-old Huntley boy was arrested at the , 1115 Crystal Lake Road, about 4:54 a.m. Sunday on a charge of criminal damage to state-supported property. He was taken to McHenry County Jail. 

Criminal Defacement

Lake in the Hills police arrested a 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy on a charge of criminal defacement for a report made at the skate park, 1107 Crystal Lake Road. He later was released to a parent. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Police received a report about 10:44 a.m. Sunday of miscellaneous items that had been taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of Village Creek Drive. 

Crash at Marlowe

Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at , 9625 Haligus Road, about 3:55 p.m. Sunday. Property was damaged in the accident. No one was reportedly injured.

Criminal Defacement

Lake in the Hills police received a report at 12:38 p.m. Friday of graffiti on the ramps at the skate park, 1107 Crystal Lake Road. 

Suspicious Person

A man approached two juveniles and asked to use their cell phone about 4:06 p.m. Friday near Frank Road and Willow View Drive. 

Backpack Stolen

Lake in the Hills police are investigating a theft of a backpack containing an iPod stolen at , 311 Randall Road, about 5:42 p.m. Friday. 

Ambulance Called

An ambulance was called to 2 E. Oak St., to assist a 14-year-old girl who fell off her bike about 8:14 p.m. Friday. She was not transported to a hospital. 

Domestic Battery

Police conducted a follow-up arrest about 3:10 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Peartree Drive for a domestic battery report. Police arrested a 48-year-old Lake in the Hills woman and turned her over to the McHenry County Jail. 

Accident at Boulder Ridge Gatehouse

A one-vehicle crash occurred about 11:26 p.m. Saturday at a gatehouse to the Boulder Ridge subdivision, 100 Boulder St. Property was damaged in the crash and no one was reportedly injured. 

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

A complainant's vehicle was "keyed" while parked in the 1300 block of Jefferson Street. Police received the report about 5:07 p.m. Saturday.
