Blotter: Assault Complaint at Sunset; Possible Drug Overdose
The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following calls on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Drunken Driving Arrest
Lake in the Hills police arrested a 44-year-old Huntley man at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road, about 11:54 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to signal and improper turn at an intersection. He later was released on bond.
Drug Investigation

Police were called to White Castle, 241 N. Randall Road, about 3:09 a.m. Thursday on a report of a 24-year-old man who possibly had overdosed. He was taken to Sherman Hospital.
Ambulance Called

An ambulance was called to the 2900 block of Impressions Drive about 7:32 p.m. Thursday on a report of a 9-year-old boy who had a head, neck and back injury. He was taken to Woodstock Hospital.
Assault
Police were called to Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, about 10:46 p.m. Thursday on a report of an assault. The report is under investigation.
No Valid Driver's License
Lake in the Hills police arrested a 34-year-old Chicago man in the area of Algonquin Road and Marie Avenue about 3:53 p.m. Tuesday on charges of driving without a valid Illinois driver's license and disregarding a traffic control device. He later was released on bond.
