Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol
Police arrested Joseph M. Kramer, 20, at Randall and Algonquin roads in Algonquin at 4:20 a.m. June 23 on charges of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and zero tolerance. Kramer, of 400 Leah Lane, #1C, Woodstock, was released on a personal recognizance board and is expected in court July 10 in McHenry County.
Failure to Give Information After Striking Vehicle
Police arrested Jose R. Valdez, 25, of 421 Tulsa Ave., Carpentersville, at his home at 9:33 p.m. June 23 on charges of failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle and no driver's license. Valdez was released after posting $150 and is expected in court Aug. 1 in McHenry County.
Aggravated Assault, Domestic Battery
Police arrested Elvis A. Rodriguez, 18, at 12:53 p.m. June 23 on the bike trail on charges of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated assault and three counts of domestic battery. Rodriguez, of 1425 Greenridge Ave., Algonquin, was taken to Kane County Jail to await a bond hearing.
Warrant Arrest
Police arrested Stephen S. Sharlog, 20, at 7:17 a.m. June 24 at 175 S. Randall Road, Algonquin, on a Lake County warrant for failure to appear on an attempt to file a false police report. Sharlog, of 16 Quail Run, Lake in the Hills, was taken to McHenry County Jail to await pickup by Lake County.
Warrant Arrest
Police arrested Michael A. Brandt, 36, of 1060 Meghan Ave., Algonquin, at 8:28 p.m. June 24 at his home on a Cook County warrant for failure to appear on a bond forfeiture warrant for no valid driver's license. He was released after posting $300 and is expected in court in Cook County on Aug. 2.
LAKE IN THE HILLS BLOTTER
Driving While License Suspended
Police arrested Salvatore Storaci, 32, of Sycamore, at 3:32 p.m. June 22 at Virginia Road and Trinity Drive in Lake in the Hills on charges of driving while license suspended, disobeying a traffic control device and no insurance. Storaci later was released on bond.
Domestic Battery
Police arrested Anthony M. Perez, 33, in the 4800 block of Bordeaux Drive in Lake in the Hills at 12:21 a.m. June 23 on two counts of domestic battery. Perez, of 4801 Bordeaux Drive, was turned over to McHenry County Jail.
Warrant Arrest
Police arrested Cody L. Stanton, 18, at 6:13 p.m. June 23 at the 7-Eleven, 4500 W. Algonquin Road, Lake in the Hills, on a McHenry County warrant for making a false police report. Stanton of St. Louis, Mo., was released on bond.
DUI
Police arrested Joseph F. Troha, 30, of Crystal Lake, at 12:59 a.m. June 24 at Lakewood and Algonquin roads in Algonquin on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and no insurance. Troha later was released on bond.
Possession of Marijuana
Police arrested Arcenio D. Webb, 21, at the Park N Shop, 4581 Princeton Lane, Lake in the Hills, at 3:13 p.m. June 24 on a charge of possession of marijuana, less than 2.5 grams. Webb, of 400 Wright Drive, later was released on bond.
Hosting Underage Drinking Party
Police arrested a 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy at 7:10 p.m. June 24 in the 2100 block of Daybreak Drive on charges of possession of alcohol and hosting an underage drinking party. The teen was released to a parent.
Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by Minor
Police conducted a follow-up arrest in the 2100 block of Daybreak Drive at 7:09 p.m. June 25. A 15-year-old Huntley boy was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol. The teen was released to a parent.
Hit and Run
Police received a report of a hit and run at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road, at 8:17 p.m. June 24. The complainant's vehicle was hit by a red vehicle that then left the scene. The hit and run is under investigation by the reporting officer.
